Flickr

I have puddled about in Flickr and looked at photos of places I recently visited on my trip around Outback Queensland. Lots of other people took photos of some of my favoutire places. I don't have any photos to share because I always end up lookin g at something really interesting and saying "Ooops. I forgot the camera". There are some wonderful photos of Longreach taken by a lady from London. I enjoyed looking at these but I wonder if my photos would be of interest to others because theya re so bound up with myexperiences and are not necessarily good photos as such. I imagine if my kids go overseas again for any lenght ot time (and this is likely!!) we could share our pics on Flickr.

I have played with a couple of blogs before but because I don't regularly visit them or post comments I still feel a bit of a novice at it all. Maybe having all the rest of you out there doing things each week and getting familiar with this form of communication will make me keep going and learn to do it better.

I see customers in the Library getting on with it and I think "I should be able to do that"! If they ask me and I don't know it gives a bit of a lie to the adage that I am supposedly an information expert. Here's hoping I can make it through this course.
